What is KPI (Key Performance Indicators)?

KPI stands for Key Performance Indicators.

KPIs are the quick business report or matrix which presents the quantitative business performance that helps in measuring and analyzing business factors - 
like Sales, Expense, Leads, Total Admissions, Profitability etc. KPI is an important feature of a software/app. The infographics is one way to present the KPI.

Key Success Indicators ( KSI ) and KPI are the interchangeable terms. 

Well defined KPI shows results/success by comparing business objectives and targets with time-duration capabilities. Ex - sales target vs achieved for 6 months. It should clearly show the leading and lagging measures.
