This can be done through various channels like Social Media(Facebook/Twitter/Instagram etc), Email, Phone Calls, SMS, Bots, Help Desk, Chat, App Notification, Feedback System, YouTube Video Channel, Parent-Teacher-Meeting(PTM for school/coaching institutes)  etc. 

The purpose of the customer engagement is strengthening the customer relationship with the brand/company/product/service.
